MY FAVOURITE SPORT

.... is very hard sport. You don´t do it on the ground. You  don´t  need  a lot of clothes. It has different disciplines. If it is done professionally your time is measured.  Most strokes involve rythmic and coordinated movements of all major body parts — arms, legs, hands, feet, and head. Breathing typically must be synchronized with the strokes, too. It is possible however to do this sport by moving only legs without arms or only arms without legs; such strokes may be used for special purposes, for training or exercise.

Vocabulary – swimming pool, trunks, cap, googles,
Swimming styles – breaststroke, crawl, backstroke=backcrawl, butterfly stroke

EASTER

Easter Monday morning was always stressful for me. My father woke me up at 6:00a.m. by pouring cold water on my face. I screamed so loud and scratched his face, leaving three deep scars and unfortunately I raked out his eyeball. He grabbed a knife to slice my throat, but I was still able to defend myself. I kicked him right into his stomach, knocking him 2 meters away. A knife got stuck into his leg. He shouted "Alice!! I am going to kill you!" He pulled out the knife of his leg and threw it at me. Because of cold water I had reflexes of cat so I was also able to dodge the attack. The knife nearly stabbed my head, but it missed me. I tried to run away from my bedroom, but father cought my leg. I couldn’t move and he was pulling me back to him. Fortunately, there was an axe nearby. I grabbed it into my two hands and I sliced off his hand. He screamed with an unimaginable agony. He stood up. I realized that there are some windows behind him. "If I kick him hard, he may be able to fly over them and fall out." passed through my mind.  So did I. I kicked him into his stomach again and he flew over the windows. I wanted to know if he is still alive so I looked down. He was. "Mum! Dad has fallen off the windows! Call an ambulance!" So she called an ambulance. The ambulance came after one hour of waiting. They took my dad to hospital. Later, we visited him. He hadn’t his arm and eye, got stabbed into his leg and he had broken lot of bones from his fell. And also he had three deep scars on his face. When I came into his room, he smiled at me and I smiled at him either. Then I said: "This was your lesson to your life. Never water me on Easter Monday again!"
It is only fiction, all characters are fictional-brutal story

ECO E-MAIL

Hi Baša.
How are you? How are you doing at school? On English lesson we are learning about our planet. We are talking about how to recycle pape , recycle bottles and reuse rubbish. You can: -make paper balls to play, paper dress, gift-wrapping, masks, table cloths. This is very practical!! :)Try it. Also after you use plastic bags for the first time, don’t have to throw them away. You can use them again for shopping, storing clothes for swimming or PE. So, you help our Earth. Bye
